Pineapple bun, aka, Po Lo Pau (Cantonese) is one of the popular bun among Hong Kong people. This bun is almost as well known as our Brunei's Roti Kahwin. Last sat, my family and I went to Miri. There's a new shoplot called "MIRI SUN CITY" near the city centre, at the corner of the shoplot (very visible area) we discovered a unique cafe called "Ipoh Town Kopi Tiam" I believe this is the first Franchise coffee stall i came across (like Starbuck, Tim Hortons, etc). Guess what caught my eyes when i browse the menu, my favourite Po Lo Pau. When the server served the bun, i was amazed at the shape and the content inside the bun. A totally Malaysia version of Pineapple bun! Ha ha...
I will try to take a picture of the Pineapple bun when i am back in Vancouver, then, you could understand why i took the picture of this po lo pau..!
